I used a snob Squier, however, when the Classic came out 50 to 60 bass that I changed my mind. I have a copy of each. I have MIA Fender Jazz bass, and I do not claim to compare, but U.S. MIM wings have nothing on this 60 HP P. Excellent, sound, and are incredibly beautiful! I had a classic 50's Fender Precision Bass in Fiesta Red and hated the color because it looked like "Hot Pink" for me, but the first time I laid eyes on this bass I fellLove with her. It was wonderful! Then I took her to play and was impressed.
This is the absolute best bang for the buck you can buy low. The tuners turn smoothly, has a heavy bridge with brass saddles. I used pickups on guitars and basses (including MIA Fender Jazz, I had to change). The only exceptions were a Gibson ES-137C Classic Vibe and 50, and 60 P bass I own. That is, I think the tone I am getting. You are not stupid!
