Back in the late 70s when I started learning to play the lead role
Bluegrass and fiddle tunes on acoustic guitar, bluegrass, each
Player, which I knew nothing other than a dreadnought. The
Dreadnought guitar is a style in 1916, in collaboration
between the manufacturer of the guitar, CF Martin and Co. Oliver
Ditson Co., a retailer.

The body of the Dreadnought was larger and
deeper than most guitars. The name wasForged the great British
Battleship HMS Dreadnought. Dreadnoughts were known for their
Bass response and projection. They have a larger volume than the product

Accompaniment of a guitar. Although poorly received at first, this
Guitar style became a bestseller Martin in the 1930s. Of
Of course, the rest of the industry followed, and today, Dreadnought
is one of the mostPopular styles of acoustic guitar on the market
and is used by many manufacturers. So, as I said, between
bluegrass guitar (and the so-called Bluegrass Guitar
Player), I knew everybody was a Dreadnought. Or, if not a
Dreadnought, was one of the big flashy Gibson J-220, which simply
Also "cowboyish" for my taste (yes, I think I hold a guitar
and appears as it seems).

What I'm playing until the wound was a1955 Gibson J-45 version of Gibson
The Dreadnought. I bought it in 1978. It was a wonderful
Instrument had a very soft sound, the excellent bass response – but
Sometimes that some of the notes I took seemed to kind
got lost in the body of the guitar. If I wanted my notes
Crisp and punchy, I would be too difficult and was
too much work for me. There are about 10 years ago, I played a few small
Body guitars and I was surprisedin its projection and clarity
each note. I was also impressed by the perfect
Balance between the notes high and bass notes. I decided to
Skip: I sold my J-45 and bought a Gibson-made
Depression Kalamazoo KG-11 (much smaller) than Dreadnought. I
have carried out many repairs to make the guitar playable, was
but ended with a lot of change left over from my J-45
Sale. Finally, I sold theKalamazoo (I went into the acquisition and
to sell on eBay), and bought a blank Carson J. Robison (also
Gibson – even then), which is identical to the Kalamazoo KG-11,
only difference is the name on the headstock. I would buy
Gibson LC Century, a small body (00 size) Gibson

Guitar. It has all the volume and punch I need – also with silk and
Steel strings!

Today Inot a guitar is now larger than 000. What I
have discovered that there are ways to get to the volume and bass

Personality of the format, and I sit down to play, then reaches a Dreadnought

I discovered the guitar, smaller is better suited and
sensitive Flatpick one Dreadnought, so you can do
Your licks ring out with a much wider range of dynamics. I also
prefer a shorter scale, more precisely 24.75 Gibson "as a yardstick
25.25 as opposed to "Martin-scale. The scale is a little shorter
less distance from tire to tire, so that the fingers do not reach
quite so far. In addition, channels can be somewhat flexible
Invitation greater momentum. Another of my favorites is a guitar
with 12 frets to the body of the mother14th place This
means that you will not go so far beyond that, it causes the bridge
a little farther from the sound hole, down in the middle of the
wider range of battle lower, so there is a powerful and
low. I also think it's something about the meeting of the body
Neck on 12 Bund (), the octave, which is really
Guitar sound better. I love everything, which is found on many
12 frets-to-the-body guitars:Slotted headstock. Guitars with
Dolls cracked keep better, and I think most of all
Sound is improved.

So when it comes to acoustic guitars, bigger is better? I do not know
think so, but it's just me. Go to your local guitar shop,
Experiment with different sizes of guitars and see what you think!
